Paris Baguette

Of course the first thing I tell you about loving Korea is the most western thing I could find, Paris Baguette. PB is a really large chain in Korea that is similar to a better Starbucks. It has coffee, pastries and cakes all at a reasonable price and all delicious. Korea loves sweetened drinks and doesn't serve plain dripped coffee, but PB makes a great Americano for about a dollar. The store by my school knows my drink already, probably not very hard since I am one of the only foreigners. I do also try other coffee shops but right now Paris Baguette hits the spot.

Perfect Soju Glass

Derek and I are not big alcohol drinkers. While we love a tasty beer and I will happily share a bottle of wine with anyone over dinner, it never amounts to enough drinking where we have a decent tolerance. For me, you can expect secrets to come spilling out during those dinners with the bottle of wine.

Our lack of tolerance has made us nervous about drinking in Korea where it is a large part of being social and both of us would like to keep our puking days behind us. But I have discovered these glasses and am tempted to do some practicing with them.

  Raunchy.
