Sorry about the lack of posts around here. My computer won't upload my pictures and without them my blog is a bore. I did want to let you know about an event in Korea that is bigger than the election going on right now. What could be so important you ask?
The Korean SAT.
Yes, a test. Tomorrow I get to come to school late because of traffic jams. Also, no airplanes will fly over Korea between the times of 8 am and 1 pm. Some schools are even cancelled. The stores have more good luck gift baskets than we do on Valentine's day. In Korea, you have one chance a year to take the test. If you miss it, too bad, it looks like one more year before you can go to University. Parents, climb atop mountains to ask the gods for luck and buy rice cake to stick to the wall. Talk about pressure. All I know is I am glad I'm not a student today .
