Cherry Blossoms

This weekend we went to Gyeongju to see some cherry blossoms and celebrate 4 years of dating, holy smokes! Gyeongju is a very historical town and has many famous, temples, pagodas and tombs. It's a small town which is nice because we rented bikes and rode into the fields, by a lake and around town (surpassing the swarm of cars going to see the cherry blossoms too). Derek and I think we might go back again in 2 weeks to see the blossoms fall like snow on the ground.

One of the oldest observatories in the east.
Burial mounds

The Gyeongju marathoners! I think there were 30 in all, everyone extremely fast.
The rock star moment of my life! Derek and I biked passed 300 school girls who were supposed to be cheering for the marathoners but instead cheered for us as we biked by. I had to take a picture which made them cheer even louder.

Here's to spring, flowers and four more years! Four more years!
